I am playing around with script insertion with Atlas, and was wondering if there is a simpler way to get a list of text pointers to add to the Atlas script.
I dumped the text with C#, but the offsets given by the dump are after the actual pointers, (closer to the text.)
I wrote a PHP script that searches the ROM for the offset given by text dump, then it subtracts 1 from the offset and searches again until a result is found. This does give me the correct pointer in most cases, but I was curious if there is a simpler way to get these values?
The system in question is GameCube.
