While working on Metroidvania I began working on a side project that has gotten a little more in depth than I had intended. So it looks like another project underway.

Project ACH which stands for, "Another Crocomire Hack"

This will be my version of how I think the unused Crocomire would have made a good fit in the game.
I noticed the other versions lack small bugs, I will be adding the Kraid Boss Theme and a different environment of where he will be found etc.

Here is the basics,

Looks like it will take about an hour or two to finish.

I put him in Upper Norfair, The Kraid Boss Theme is working fine. Increased his health a bit to give the feel of Super Metroid.

Sounds like the project is moving along smoothly. I look forward to seeing this completed.

I've been waiting for something like this for a very long time, I already downloaded it and I'm going to check it out later.

One idea you should do to the Crocomire is instead of making it a boss and giving it its own room, you should make it into a mini boss and put it in one of the hallway type rooms in Norfair, including you're locked in the room until you beat it.

Or if you want to keep it where it is, you should put a major item in there, so there's a definite reason why you have to fight it.

I just submitted a revision.

Apparently there is a glitch that causes Crocomire to spawn incorrectly at times.
So I fixed it.

Also at the moment the only reason to beat him is for 100% completion rate.
I stuck an Energy Tank behind him.

Maybe down the road I can go through the game and put a more valuable item back there.

The only things that I was unable to fix was the event system so upon defeating him the door goes back to blue and stopping his re spawn.

But I was able to find a way around the door for the time being.

This is how castlevaina always use to be, and they just chaged it to fit the style of a nes game.

I'm going to be taking a break from GBA Making and going back to the Nes Work again.

See if I can get Stage 2 in the works for Metroidvanis as I am finally getting some free time.

It's been crazy busy.

If this is the case I'll go back to working on certain parts on the title along with bits and pieces on other sprites :)
