My translations of NES games into Spanish

So far the only game with DTE that I come across was Flintstones: "The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy", but since I was a rookie at the time, although I had managed to do almost everything necessary to carry out my work, I had a problem with cinematics that bothered me.

In these, the text barely coincided with the illustrations and ended up being completely out of date, so I had to make very abrupt cuts to each sentence to try to hide this problem, I hate doing things by halves so I decided to leave this work for later, but the rom was lost over time.

Luckily I had a second chance collaborating on the graphic aspect in the translation of Jackic, and although it is true that I also find that Spanish class somewhat strange, I would be lying if I said that I did not enjoy playing his hack

So now I look forward to your new work, about having the tools to translate it I recommend you try HexCmp2, I learned a lot by comparing translations

I think Ninja Gaiden 3: The Ancient Ship of Doom has DTE as well, and if it is, someone just translated that one into Portuguese language.

Unfortunately since August I have tried to publish my translations and I have not been able to do it, when I try to use the "Scratchpad" it automatically banns me.

And when I try to use any of the allowed servers it just doesn't work...

I have already tried from other browsers, from other PCs, even from other physical locations and it is always the same. Obviously I have already discussed my case with the administrators, but they have not been able to solve my problem :-\

For my part, the only thing I can do is keep trying, although more and more new projects are accumulating :P

¿Siguen los problemas? Supongo que no tendrĂ¡ nada que ver que en el foro uses un nick y en la web otro distinto... Por dar ideas...

Omg! that's spanish from spain lol, no offense but it's kinda funny how their language is, I rather have the tools to make my own, thanks for the heads up, cheers!

Well, you should know the spanish from Spain has more precision than our latinamerican spanish.

Look, pronun "Ustedes" and pronun" Ellos" share the same verb conjugations.

"Son inteligentes - (Ustedes)"
"Son inteligentes - (Ellos)"

Spain:

"Sois inteligentes - (Ustedes=Vosotros)"
"Son inteligentes - (Ellos)"

The same with possesive pronuns:

"Su auto - (auto de ustedes)"
"Su auto - (auto de ellos)"

Spain:

"Vuestro auto - (auto de ustedes=vosotros)"
"Su auto - (auto de ellos)"

I know, Spain also has the pronoun "Ustedes" however its use is for formal ocassions rather than familiar.

I really forgot to try again, but taking advantage of my carelessness I updated the screens of the Solbrain, to deliver a more polished work

This time I decided to rewrite each screen from scratch, to add all the details that I felt was missing and also include some improvements over the original

It was very evident that the test menu was just that, a tool designed exclusively for the use of the developers of this game, so its design was quite sloppy and the configuration of its controls very unintuitive.

I remember that as a child I was always confused when navigating that menu, so I added a little description, also I changed the main font to match the other screens in the game.

On the other hand, I don't think I will upload my patches for the moment, I am somewhat busy lately, although if someone offers to do it for me I have no problem, but I see very unlikely this will happen

Fascinating

Hi, just to let you know about my last translation and that I'm back!

My closest friends will know that I had my reasons for leaving this for a while, but now I feel ready to come back and pick up where I left off! ;)

So very soon I will begin to upload all the patches that had not been able to share on the site, a hug and see you soon!

I'm sorry, it's a very impressive game in the technical aspect, but your gameplay is too frustrating to play it, I'm not interested in translating it ;)

On the other hand, I'm considering making an alternate translation of Robocop 2, although I've only edited the screens with graphics.

Also, as some of you may know, I translated and restored the full version of Double Dragon 1 (with some help from nesrock, of course )

(Ending of the game)

Lastly, I did some small edits on games I liked, for example:

Any chances of postig tha Super Contra Logo hack? Altough I would edit the A to match the previous game, you know, a rectangular triangle.

sics

Of course, I make these hacks to share them with people, if I don't upload them before it's only because it took some time to do it moderately well, on the other hand if you want to edit the graphics you have my permission
