Hello everyone,
we are proud to present to you our new project - Star Cruiser 2 for PC-98. This game is a sequel to Star Cruiser on PC-88 (an FPS/RPG hybrid), which also received various other ports, including the translated SMD version. Thanks to TheMajinZenki and celcion, this project got off the ground and ended up being finished. We would also like to thank Blomman who contributed enormously to script-editing and finding bugs/glitches etc.

EDIT: The patch is now out! You can grab it here https://nebulous.group/index.php/projects/translations/star-cruiser-2/ or wait until it's uploaded to this site. :)

Another great news for the sake of PC-98 translations!

I'd like to help but sadly I haven't enought time for that, but I can give you the best vibes for this project in (presumably) its final stage

Translation released, you can grab it here.

Very cool news! So your team has beaten that translator Nana, who was planning to do this game, to the punch without asking for a single dollar from the public unlike her Patreon account. :P :cookie:  That's what this community is all about. Being keen to toss out new patches as fast & reliably as possible.

Also thanks for creating that convenient patching guide page on your team's site. This game looks so beautiful!

She's busy with her job and life in Japan AFAIK, so she hasn't been doing much hacking lately I guess. :) We actually asked her about this game last year, and she said she wouldn't be able to do it quicker, as it's a pretty big project to tackle. Either way, 'tis done. DK4 will take more time than that for sure though, but what matters is the end result, as they say.

Congrats in your effort, guys!

Always is very nice to see a new PC-98 game translated game effort completed!

How do you move forward and backward in the hover tank? I'm having to clumsily move forward and backwards by moving in a diagonal direction.
