Have any of you used the Blue Mage in Final Fantasy.

Well in 5 I have to have everyone master the job.

6 I must keep Strago in the party

7 I keep Enemy Skill Martira on Cloud

8 I keep Qustis in the party (She's lead female not Rinoa!)

9 I have to have Quina eat as much monsters as I can. He cannot stay with frogs all the time because without them bugs will be pest forever.

10 Kirmari must learn more Overdrives the purple Spheres are meant for him and the Luca Goers must be defeated. (THEY CANNOT WIN ALL THE TIME!) Kirmari must get revenge on Biran for breaking his horn.

In other words I have used Blue Mage lots. He or she an important character.

I beat Final Fantasty 1 with 1 Fighter and 3 White Mages. It was really stupid at first but when they all equipped Fade it was game over man game over.
Come with me if you want to live.

I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit; it's the only way to be sure.

Blue Magic is cool af; however, I have always viewed it as heavily situational. It always seems to depend on what you want to do with the magic specifically, as opposed to White or Black Magic which have more specific purposes.

Actually, for Quistis (who is one of three lead females, if they're playable for most of the game, they're a lead in a way :p), you have to give her specific items to learn Blue Magic. She's weird like that, but FF8 did a lot of things differently.

I hope it's in FF 14, just to see how it would work.
