Split a rom "xxxx" in 1
« on: December 11, 2016, 05:14:13 pm »
Hello community
I do not know if this is going here.
My question is this:
Is it possible to split a rom of several games into 1?
Specifically this "DreamGear 75 in 1.nes"
This multirom has many unique and very interesting games and it would be great to have them 1 for 1, to add them to Hyperspin.
First of all, Thanks.

(My English is still very basic, sorry if I did not understand my post)

It's really a game-specific question, as it depends on stuff like the mapper used as well as if the individual game is using any code/data from the "menu" program, etc.

This would basically come down to the same question as combining many games into one.

Most just hack it to automatically boot into one game instead of separating it in this case, I remember ones for the GBC Castlevania 2 packs and Mother 1+2 on the GBA.
