SMB3 (Workshop) - Crash/Jam
« on: October 16, 2016, 06:40:52 pm »
So, I was making a hack for my friend, and during testing, the game just started crashing. I'm nowhere near the 3-byte, 4-byte, and enemy limit (Currents: 3B- 26, 4B- 3, E- 5), and all of the ground's length is below C3. Whenever I start the level, it just crashes due to a CPU jam, or goes back to the title screen. I will also provide a screenshot of the level so far via imgur.

Anyway, please help. And thank you in advance.

Step 1: Set the length to FF

Step 2: make sure you see if '!' appears anywhere in any screen then you delete it, then set the length back to where it was.

Step 3: Test it and see if it works. If not, then try delete all the objects/sprites and start all over again.

Alright, here's the thing. This is my second attempt at making a Mario 3 level. Around halfway in progress, the game just crashes. So, I'm going to give up with 3 for now and try to do some stuff with World.

And yes, I tried it, and it didn't work. Keep in mind that it was working up until a certain point.
