I've spent a couple of days hacking the "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai." PSP game and creating a script editor.
Seems to be working fine... if you don't mind being limited to SHIFT-JIS characters  :)

I don't know enough Japanese to make a real attempt to translate this. If there's anyone interested in translating, please contact me/post here.

Edit: I've submitted a help ad:

Edit2: You can track progress here,22877.0.html

You should put an ad in help wanted :) If you need help with an entire game.
If you need help with 1 or 2 lines, there is a "script help" section of the forums you could use.
Also it would be helpful if you say the total size of the script in characters so your would-be translator would know how big the elephant really is.
There are a lot of these VN games (PSP and otherwise) available for translating, just look around and you'll find them. And not enough translators to go around, clearly.

I also didn't see that many translation help ads in the help wanted ads.

Thanks, I'll post a help ad later.
The script size is ~1MB of pure text. About 500.000 Japanese characters, 1370 unique kanji.

I love you! haha good luck good sir. Been waiting for this one. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Thanks. I hope someone interested in translating this shows up.
In other news I think I've managed to edit the images so now those can be translated too. ;)

Very nice!  You are the king *bows down* lolz someone will come along eventually absolutely no doubt. Just be patient my friend & don't give up hope. I'll cheer you on from the sidelines. I'm also gonna look for a translator on some different sites & scenes. I'm hopeful about this. Now if someone could finally work on Lost Colors... Anywayz keep at it good sir. & thanks again for your truly appreciated efforts towards this game.
