Like, is it an old guy that runs as fast as Sonic? Or is it an old Decrepit Sonic that runs slow and throws his back out whenever he tries to spindash?

PM stands for Private Message.

And it's a sort of mystery to me why that Media Fire ROM link in the original post was deleted, but my guess is it was because links to ROMs may be a violation of the forum rules.

It's possible he came from either Sonic Retro or Sonic Stuff Research Group, since those communities actually distribute their hacks as ROMs rather than patches.
