Surging Aura

I finished the game. What a great ride it was! It was a bit hard for me to get into, but it grew on me and I played like crazy the last few days. Only thing I can complain about is the lack of a load feature. Why? Because since you cannot see what kind of missile you pick up until afterwards, it means you sometimes "lose" some when you have over 10. Loading after that would have been good so you can save the missiles for later. Other than that, top notch game! Very impressive 3D gfx, nice soundtrack, well written (I especially like Gibson's character arc) and lots of fun to play.

Thanks again so much for translating the game! The translation was very good, I only found a few minor mistakes hardly worth mentioning, but here goes anyway. It can polish the patch a slight bit. My last few notes:

Space between the name.

don't -> doesn't

Oh, if it's NAME. -> Oh, if it isn't NAME!

stayed -> stay

This option bug, you most often cannot see one option, then it is an m which disappears when you highlight it.

Linebreak at trick.

Space between names.

gound -> ground (I think)

I don't recall, but I think there is a linebreak at the first word which ends with an O.

me my -> me for my

I accidentally pressed a button, so I missed the actual text. But I remember it was: teriaki, which should be written as teriyaki.

Sorry about the bad photos. I was lieing on the sofa sick, so I didn't have the energy to get up close to take better photos :P.

Yep, this one:

This is already fixed version. :-)
Proper fix to this will require quite a few hours and would be one of the biggest hack in this game. And all for a screen that people are not using generally.
I don't think it worth it.

such person -> such a person

What is that sentence even supposed to mean? Is it: Even a person with his duties can do these leisure activities. Or rather: Even a person with such diligence...
I wonder because I found it hard to imagine under what circumstances this line would make sense.

Surging Aura

I don't remember the full dialogue, but I think it was a person who wasn't expected to have video games as a hobby. Kind of how you don't expect old grannies to be bodybuilders, some people you just don't think have certain hobbies based on their look/gender/age etc.

It was Tomovsky who played the games.

I hate this S*** Word in this translation

Well, it was "kuso" originally. It's a direct translation.

Gamerhenky

Then why'd you translate it? Censor this.

(Second edit and I'm ignoring someone)

It's not a little kid's game, so we can consider it a mild language. I see no reason for censorship really.
Maybe someone else can voice opinions here? Should I censor it somehow?

It's your patch so it's your call imo

I mean, I don't know how bad this word is for native English speaker, so it would be good to hear some opinions.
I don't see any problems with this word, but I might be wrong.

goldenband

I think "shit" is a stronger expletive than "kuso" is in Japanese. I'm not remotely offended by the word, but "crap" might be a better translation.

Digitsie

If Ender's Game can use 'kuso', why not just leave it as is? I always did like the idea that languages started getting merged together down the road.

Because this game has almost no relation to Japanese culture. So it would be pretty out of place here.

schtolteheim

Again I wonder, is "can play games" the most suitable wording? If he doesn't exhibit an unusual proficiency it may be better to ditch the 'can' and make it 'plays games'.
I mean, seeing an unlikely person being a gamer at first glance it isn't as much a question of 'can' but simply 'do'. I'm sorry for being overly pedantic, arguing about loose bits without having played.

Do you have any plan to translate the original X68000 version (The best) of this game someday? I know that Mega Drive version are entirely different game and much shorter than the original versions. If you don't, never translate it.

Sorry, but no plans disclosing.

OK, I fixed almost everything reported so far.
A few notes.

1) I wasn't able to reproduce that missing text on options, so I don't know how to fix that, sorry. If somebody would be able to reproduce it on any emulator - please, send me the savestate, taken before that happens. Thanks.
2) The instances where there is no space between the character's name (two of them) - it's not in the script and called directly by the game. So can't fix it without more serious game hacking. As I don't have saves to this places either, I think I'll left it as is for now.

If no other problems would be reported within two weeks, I'll do a release.

:woot!: The final release is underway! :woot!:
