Here is a full Beta patch for the game Wizardry Empires II: Oujo no Isan also known as Legacy of the Princess for the Windows PC version of this game.

Currently we believe we have 95% of the text completed but there may be imperfections, misspellings, and bugs which are currently being looked for during testing at the moment.

Enjoy the translation and stay tuned for the Wizardry Chronicles translation which will be the next one to he completed hopefully within a month from now.

I started Chronicles and Empires II about the same time but had different people working on each so it was great to get this head start. Chronicles does have a lot more dialogue though so that one is taking a bit longer for that reason. Now that I can fully devote time to it, hopefully I can get this one done soon.

I'm having a hard time getting the font to display right. I tried using Applocale but you didn't state what locale to run it in and it won't run it in Japanese as I have my system set to Japanese, even so the font doesn't display when ran normally. Also how do you run this in a window and I don't like games that take up my whole screen.

Font displays fine for me on both my japanese OS and non-Japanese OS running Applocale. Not sure what that could be. Are you talking about the names of custom characters?

For the windowed thing just make a shortcut, right-click "Properties" and in the target field after the exe directory (outside of the quotations) put -w

Just posted another update which changes the font so that it don't spill over the dialogue boxes in sections where there are overflow situations. Apparently the numbers still retained the Large size after changing them to unicode. The new font that was done by ThisNameIsFree fixes that.

Many thx for this, guys. I love wizardry style dungeon crawlers to the death, I always envied the japanese having a continuation to that great series.

Also just wanted to let everyone know, another update (Version 0.98) has been posted which has all the English graphics now inserted for the Maps and Buttons on dialogue entry.

We are currently trying to figure out the issue with the letters right now. For now we are advising using the keyboard for entering the letters and holding SHIFT when entering capital letters which work no problem for these dialogue entries.

I assume ones on previous gen consoles like the PS3 and X360 are going to take much longer.

We got Wizardry Chronicles next which is very close to being done and Wizardry Empires 1 for PC which has a good start at the moment. We were going to do Five Ordeals and Prisoners of Battles for PC but there is compression involved in the dialogue so we cancelled those.  Dimguil for PS1 also has compression involved so that's another project we won't be doing. Summoner & Asterisk look a bit involved so I don't think I'll be doing those as well as the other ones for the Playstation 1+2. As for Wizardry Empires III (For PSP), Aweigh is working at that for the moment so he might release that one depending on if he can work around the code.

Pretty much after the 2 I mentioned above, we will be moving on to the rest of the Lunatic Dawn games that are able to be worked on such as Lunatic Dawn IV, Book of Futures, and The 3rd Book. Its a real underrated series but I recommend anyone who likes RPG's.
