Uh, I think you guys submitted this under the wrong section. While a translation is indeed a hack, there's also a category dedicated solely for translation hacks. Hacks are reserved for stuff like graphic mods, gameplay changes etc.

Congrats on the translation. I picked it up and gave it a spin today and I'm highly impressed. I've noticed in chapter 4 though, none of the combat text has been translated. Character dialogues seem to be in English so I don't -think- it's a problem with the patch. Is there anywhere I can submit a bug report or let somebody know?

Hey, that's pretty weird, we did translate that. I'll send you a PM and hopefully you can figure out what's wrong.

If anyone has any problems, send me a PM on the forums here, or an email to the address listed at the bottom of the readme.

EDIT: Yeah, this is a problem with the FDI patch. (However, the issue is with Chapter 5, not 4.) I've updated the patch on our site  and on here as well.

If you're already a ways into the game but want to play with an updated patch without losing your save file, there is hope! Save files are in your Disk A/User Disk as PC1.46 - PC6.46, for EVO File 1 - EVO File 6. Use the program DiskExplorer/editdisk.exe to open your disk images and move these save files in and out of your disks.

Thank you guys so much for this translation!  I'm a big fan of the SNES EVO so being able to play this is real blast.  Heck in some ways I think I'm liking this game better already!

Just a heads up that I spotted a typo in the translated manual.  The final event for Earth in the timeline reads "The Devil comtes to Earth".

Don't worry, that's just the first version of the manual. We'll be releasing the fully fixed manual soon which should have that, as well as a lot of other things fixed and looking nicer overall soon.

I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of cleaning up and expanding upon Lucifer's wiki page here a bit.  Definitely good work here though.

So I've seen a chart of all of the game's evolutions floating around online, but even after beating the game I'm having a hard time figuring out which stat increases lead to which evolutions.  I understand from the manual that evolging by maxing out the stat that needs the *most* points leads to a vertical evolution, but for horizontal evolutions, what determines whether you evolve "left" or "right"?

Generally speaking, vitality and endurance will move you to the right and left.

Hope the manual helped contribute to the release, for the longest time I wondered if it was worth what I paid for it, but if it contributed at all then that's awesome.

Good work again (and again)!! Hope the Internet remains a-buzz for a few more weeks about this game, it's such an accomplishment you guys made to translate it all!

A lot of people have been reading the manual and talking about it when they talk about playing the game, so it has definitely helped the release. The final version of the manual that we have on our site is based on your scans as well. I'll add a link to the original scans to our project page, as it's definitely a cool little collection and I'd merely forgotten to include the link there.
