Hi Everyone,

I am playing PuzzleDude etal's Legend of Zelda Goddess of Wisdom. Is anyone out there playing this or familiar with it enough to recall where the hammer is. or what is the 2nd dungeon. I have gone through the forest one. I guess it's the Lost Woods one... I got the Glove there. Every dungeon I've found so far requires either the hammer Red Gloves or Firerod.

You may want to try the forums at zeldix.net. Puzzledude got banned from romhacking.net after threatening to disassemble someone with a samurai sword after spreading false accusations of his latest hack infecting their computer with a Russian porn virus (and that I was also somehow involved!). LOL

I would try to help, but it's been a while since I've played it and I never actually finished it. *beware: personal opinion and self-promotion follows* I find Goddess of Wisdom and Parallel Worlds to be technically impressive, but next no fun to play.

Even though they are both incredibly flawed and not nearly as extensive, I find Puzzledude's Quest and Bruce Campbell vs Ganon to be much more fun (especially the latter). I guess this is a good oppurtunity to point out that I am actually working on a Bruce Campbell vs Ganon "Redux". I got permission a while back but the original author suggested that I work on a bugfix for the existing version in case the redux never got finished, so I did. I actually spent about 7-8 hours working on the remodel (which is being built from the ground up) last night/this morning, got four hours of sleep and here I am. LOL I got a little food and posted some comments on some hacking forums and soon it's back to hacking (I'm super inspired right now).

PS: If you play Puzzledude's Quest and can't live with the constant overworld mazes let me know. It's not as simple as throwing the ROM in Hyrule Magic and making a few changes.

Hi SunGodPortal, how are you this evening. Where to start... well, this is my first venture into this sort of gaming. I am not a fan of it and have spoken against it. I do however, play oldies and since my candy store seems to have closed, I had some free time and wanted to try and expand my gaming abilities. I am not a true gamer, I am a woman with a few extra hours on her hands during the day. I played Zelda back in the day and when I got stymied I had to burn the lines from the Carolinas to Redmond, Washington. Yes, even the hold tiimes. So today I am a lover of walks. And I play with someone who loves working without a net. In fact he may post here to tell you he has finished this game.

However, he is not one for notes and four or five years later, he's wandering the overworld also.  Right now we're trying to find D 2 or whatever dungeon we can enter and play without needing a tool like fire rod, hookshot, hammer or boots. 

So until we luck up on that place we'll just wander the world I guess.  I'm still hoping someone can post something helpful, however til then, I'll check out you advice. Thank you again.

Yeah, I've seen talk of PQ, but first I want to see if this is worth it. I got the impression that PuzzleDude etal were rather sure that this version was complete and bug free. maybe if skater43 posts he can give you a much better feel for it.
