Basically this:

,but better and for S3&K.
The spritesheet I'm using for Sonic's sprite has about 8 running frames, but the game only offers you 4 running frames.

Yeah, not much people know much about hacking S3. I've never coded before though, other than editing the order of animations for S3, if that counts, so I'm not sure what to do.
