power dolls is a little gem of classic gaming, hard for hardcore gamers and classic anime drawing of golden age. The Kogado Studio released the first title in early '90 on western market. There are many features of classic  tactical game of period  like action points, turn sequence, choice of team members ( everyone has own skills ), choice of weapons, artillery support, detailed briefings. There are very challenging and long missions and losses of crew team can influence the next missions.

the game havent an editor that is great lack ( only 9 missions ! ) that is one of reasons of failure on western market ( other reasons are high difficulty,absence of animated graphic and movie scenes ).

In Japan there are other 4 titles never released on western market and an OAV serie. Power Dolls 1 and 2 were released on PC, the others on alternative platforms that were PC-98 and PC-FX that have PC emulators Neko Project and Mednafen.

You could put in a request for a translation over on data crystal,  but it seems like they have a fairly massive backlog of stuff that needs done, so it might be awhile before it gets picked up.

I did already ^_^ I think that a steam remake of Power Dolls can be amazing
