I think you're missing the point of this thread, it is not a guessing game.
ITS NOT? It sure sounds like it! i'm gonna make one then, what IS the point of this thread then?

It's for people who need help remembering the name of a game. Either because they've played it a really long time ago or because they've only seen video/screenshots and would like look it up again.

Memory very hazy on this one but I always remember an old PC game that was on CD-ROM in the mid 90s. It was a side scrolling rpg set in a medieval setting. You began the game as a man in a castle town. The game gave you multiple dialog lines to interactive with NPCs. You could do something to trigger guards to attack you and also if you ran far enough to the right you'd come to a screen where the town gate is closed and the guards won't let you leave. And I think the game had voice acting too.

It's an Atari 2600 side-scrolling shmup game, where you controlled a tiny ship.
Very colorful and the most remarkable aspect (and I think what may differ it from other games) is that there were some sort of white-ish "gates" that were opening and closing, and you had to get through them. They looked like coils to me.
I was around 6yo at the time, and this game was found on the sidewalk, without a cartridge, so I never knew it's real name...

Looking up those enemy names, it looks like this is Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean, for the Sega Saturn. :)

Hey guys. Looking for a PC game. Mid to late 90's.

Description:
there were 3 playable characters, an elf, a dwarf, and i want to say a human. It was a Diablo like action RPG, you leveled up weapons and spells by finding that item elsewhere in the game (IE finding an axe while holding an axe gave you a lvl 2 axe), it used health and mana gauges similar to diablo. I want to say they looked like potion bottles but that could be a false memory. I also think mana was red and health was blue.

Sounds like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Does anyone know where to get this sprite hack? Thanks in advance!

Boss

An old Amiga game, isometric view similar to Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters but wasn't that. Pretty sure it had a sci fi theme and a green colored villain in the cutscenes. Might have been a platformer? Definitely a shooter. Ring any bells?

First of all, i'm so sorry if this isn't the right board to ask questions like this, but i've been so stressed out lately because i can't find the game that i used to play a few years ago.

There are few things that i remember about it. First being that it's probably a modded version or a rom hack. To narrow it down, and this isn't reliable at all but i'm trying to remember as much details as i possibly can, it was either a Super Mario World, Mega Man, or a Metroid game. It was like a 90s game with all the standard mechanics but the graphics were totally different, they were HD and had a lot of details. Tiles or textures had teeth on them, and if i remember correctly, eyes and stuff like that. It was a bit gorey, not that there were gore kills or explicit scenes, but the vibe of the game was much different from your normal game.

If anyone could help me or atleast point me in the right direction, it would mean a world to me. This is my first time using this forum so if i broke any rule by posting this on a wrong board, i'm so sorry, feel free to delete this post.

Here are some pictures for a reference (textures)
