You're forgetting 星人, "alien."
Actually, I'm not. The kanji was provided and reads: 聖人. I provided the
reading for the kanji. It quite definitively means "saint, prophet" or something similar.

Unless you want to insinuate that not only did the author put a clever reading on top of using kanji semantically, but then went so far as to even use
ateji (kanji misused or misappropriated to either stand in for another word) to put further levels of meaning. But I'd say that's really, really unlikely.
