Hej guys,

Just patched my copies and they loaded perfectly fine on PS Classic using RetroArch. I have not start playing seriously yet, but it seems all is OK, no freezes, no bugs, everything working as intended.

Thanks Green Goblin for this awesome work!

Have you tried the bug after talking to Tifa after you woke up in the basement of Seventh Heaven?

No... As I said, I have not start playing seriously yet. Just fooled around for a short time. How many hours into the game you can find this bug? I haven't play FF7 since its launching in 1997...

Now I saw the reason why it freezes when I talk to Tifa after waking up from the Avalanche hideout in Seventh Heaven...

I am playing the game in RetroPie with lr-pcsxrearmed emulator and Biggs is invisible too but the game didn't freeze or crash.

it freezes on XEBRA, on PSP, the console itself. XEBRA can quickly detect and freeze it while in PSP it takes a lot harder but it will suddenly freeze when you walk around tifa and talk to her there is a certain point that it crash. Actually loading the game way back after Cloud gave Tifa or Marlene the flower, tapping the circle button in between Biggs and Wedge will also lead the same freeze.

I follow your instructions and the game freeze and crash too in Win10 - RetroArch - lr-pscxrearmed emulator. But it doesn't crash in the RetroPie 4.7.1 - lr-pscx-rearmed emulator with same bios file.

i just think the Chinese pronounced words should be given proper English translations. But in Yuffie's case as being a shinobi her limit breaks and weapons should be in Romanized Japanese. If any problems with regards to it I am willing to help. This one is optional but if you make the Item menu in two columns like in the International version it would be great but if not I think it is fine for now.  :)

No more bugs, right? Should I update main page now?

Regards

I'm only up to the Temple of the Ancients so far, but I've been playing on the Beetle PSX HW core through RetroArch and have experienced no gameplay glitches as far as I can tell, just very minor quirks in the script (i.e. "lady's man" instead of "ladies' man", "in to" instead of "into", "three dimensional" instead of "three-dimensional", etc.) that probably won't bother most people and might be best taken up with the original creators of the Beacause retranslation.

Ok I'll wait a little bit, I need at least one complete walkthrough.

I should also add that I haven't done any Fort Condor stuff yet.

Before posting things like this, you really need to Google it first.

Lady and ladies are both used.  There is no right way.  See Collins and Oxford dictionary - this is true of America as well.

Three Dimensional with or without hyphen is fine.

I checked google and dictionaries and forums before making those decisions.

And into and in to depend on the sentence. I'd need to see the sentence you think is incorrect.

I understand. The "in to/into" instance I'm referring to is during the cutscene upon first entering Gongaga; when Reno tells Rude that Elena will be let down by the fact that Rude is attracted to someone else, Rude says "Nah, she's in to Tseng."

To my understanding, lady's man would imply that it is singular. I believe that in context it should be ladies' man.

One other thing of note that just didn't seem right was when you first meet Aerith at the beginning of the game. I know she's a flower seller, and that is grammatically correct, but game originally called her "Flower girl." I know its minor, but could that be changed back?

DLPB

She's not known as flower girl in Japanese, so no can do.  It's not even her title - it's just literally what she is at that point - a woman who sells flowers and is of no consequence to Cloud.

As for lady's man etc - both are the same meaning according to dictionary.  There's no difference between either in the context they are meant.

pating

officially she was called a local florist by Square-Enix. hehehe

Just to clarify further

Upon research, while both are technically correct, ladies' man is used more commonly. In fact, there's even the Jerry Lewis movie, and it's remake starting Tim Meadows, The Ladies Man. Of course, then there's "Are you username ladiesman217?" in the first Bayformers film.

It also makes the most sense looking at it. Lady implies one lady. Lady's is possessive of one lady. Ladies is plural. Ladies' is possessive of many ladies.

As for Flower Seller - Flower girl, I am aware that it's insignificant to you. However, this would make sense in the canon addendum, which is the only version I will play.
