So, closing the lid or flicking the Sleep switch crashes the Ni no Kuni translation, at least on R4i3D. I don't know the cause.

Also happens in DeSmuME's nightly builds.

That's a weird thing. Any hope of patching it out?

Also, tried the arm7 xdelta fix? can't do, it simply refuses to translate the game after.

The arm7 patch comes with the translation, so no need to use the translation patch on top of it.

I doubt.

And now that I tested a thing... IF they included the Arm7, then it is what causes the breakage. I can use the LID button fine in the original untranslated game, but doing so in the translation is insta-crash.

Hang on... Goddamnit Hephaestus, it would be nice to know that the arm7 XDELTA CONTAINS the translation. (The phrasing wasn't clear enough)

The original translation patch is bugged because they messed with the arm7 to get around the A.P., the arm7 patch however, is the same as the translation patch, but fixes the arm7 to how it originally was in order to fix some of the issues. It's not perfect, so we still need to wait for the translators to release a better fix, which might take quite awhile since they don't completely understand the A.P.

Edit: I just saw your edit, it would definitely help if Hephaestus made his post a little clearer.
