Probotector/Super Probotector 60hz conversion?
« on: April 17, 2015, 10:53:44 am »
Hello guys!

Just wondering, is there any converter or steps available in order to create a NTSC equivalent of European releases such as Probotector to run at the same speed and such as Contra?

I don't know about Super Probotector, but I just played the first 2 levels of the NES Probotector under NTSC and it runs fine.  There's no hack necessary (or possible), it's just a region setting in your emulator.

There are some technical differences between NTSC and PAL systems that might cause a game not to work properly, but they don't seem to matter for Probotector NES.

i imagine that Probotector was made modifing an NTSC image, so when the emulator runs the PAL version at its original frecuency it plays identical to NTSC...
