Okay, now that I'm getting into this I found the question I should've axed a week ago: what do you mean by "bank swap from 07 to 04"? Bank #7 is $[E010-1000F]; Bank #4 is $[8010-A00F]. Did you mean "swap from Bank #E to Bank #8"?

Yes after we expanded the file it should be from Bank #E to Bank #8

If I debug the code still with the BP $E77D, it swaps from 0E to 07 and then runs its routines. But somewhere in the code it makes another bankswap to 04 and THEN it begins with showing the graphics on the screen.

I'll send you the ROM and and you can have a look at it if you have the time.
