Super Baseball Simulator 1000 for SNES help!

Hello,

First post. I'm trying to play Super Baseball Simulator 1000 for SNES and have had some problems batting on a few different ROMs and emulators. When the batter is in the batters box, he can't swing at full speed so hitting is impossible -- you can only bunt.

Anyone have a suggestion on a ROM and emulation combo or a possible fix to one of these ROMs. Playing on a Mac and tried using snes9x, ZSNES, and will try MESS later.

I can't hit a ball to save my life, but I think you need to hold A to swing. Seems work in bsnes.
