Couldn't find a recent thread, so here's an update.

We've been pecking away at it for a while, and now we have some real progress.  8)

A while back when we had the script only, I doctored up some screens:



Now, inserted:



















Scenario 1 is totally in game. It has some bugs, but once we fix the line breaks I hope they'll go away.

Couldn't hurt! It'll be on the list once we fix the breaks. That's the default.

But it looks awesome :D  I figure I'll have a VWF implemented within 3 years at the rate we go ;)

In all honestly, going to format it first so it can actually be played.  Then VWF/FWF depending on how it looks and depending on how the font is setup in game.

This is just me, but I wouldn't have posted shots of that font as-is. I think it's kind of embarrassing from a technical standpoint. There's a reason why people mock the T E R R A N I G M A font, even if that font isn't final.

Well, we'll fix it soon enough. There's been no progress on this game for nearly a decade, so I figure people would enjoy seeing cracks in the wall.

Some progress is still progress, though.
We can't always have EVERYTHING looking nice all at once. :P

I'm enjoying this! There's something about the atmosphere in this game that reminds me of Faselei, somehow. Probably the art style or something.

Hahahaha yeah... I tell CJ that this is still alpha stuff and not really ready to be tested/shown but it's hard to stop him when he gets excited :)

It's a good thing the MC68000 isn't too limited and allows for decently complex code. Heck, you could even use C all the way and still have an engine to run at full speed. Good luck with that!

I can dig up my VWF code for Bare Knuckle 3 if you guys want to take a look at a VWF for 68000. Just PM me and I'll run it down.

This game has been on my to-do list for years. Glad to see someone's finally taking it on. :)
