First Off hi, I never post but I love this site and have learned my dream here its time to get stick and ask for help? seriously this hack and me....we got problems

I wanted to do this simple task, its not my Protoman 21XX

Press start

Select screen

Shang thung would be there
Reptile would be there
and Goro as well DONE

and the easy stuff:
some handicaps
Blood
blah blah

just that....nothing else

So...cool...I changed the hex,with a GG cheat like any beginner... And OMG I AM USING Goro
But why does Gor...o have... screw it!, Im going to hit him with a punch....game freezes...

Tried many times.....The programmers knew we existed (HI!!!)

We program buttons for Goro!
and eliminate this glitch right? easy pickles

Finally made my simple mortal kombat hack, im gona get at least a lil respect on romhacking.com, I am using Shang thung, sure you have to use johnny cage, press left once, and turn into him but screw it!!

TSK-TSK, that's cool, why do you think he has the attacks of sub zero and reptile, creativity? NO! THEORY: they  must have , joined the palletes by mistake it, looked bad ass, ultimate boss was born, so is he playable?, where there is hacking Yes? hard? FUCK YES

can help This GG code---(656A-47AF)

This kode  is actually a couple kodes in one. So to make it easier I'll explain it as if you were using the code in a one player or two player game.

If you're playing a one player game, start as anyone you want. After you beat the person from the 1st match you will start another match, this time against Reptile. You will keep fighting Reptile until you turn off the Game Genie. If you do turn off the Game Genie you will kontinue your game as usual. If you turn the Game Genie back on, after you beat your opponent you will fight Reptile again. If you lose a match to Reptile, and you kontinue, you will kontinue as Scorpion. But if you lose and don't kontinue, you can watch the computer play against itself as Reptile vs. Reptile (one says Scorpion). If you want to start a new game, let the computer beat itself and don't kontinue. You will then go to the title screen.

If you're playing a 2 player game, player 2 can play as Reptile, sort of. Start a 2 player game and have player 2 choose Scorpion or Sub-Zero as their fighter. Then have player 2 beat up player 1 and don't continue. The next match will then be against Reptile. Have player 1 join in. Player 1 will automatically start as Scorpion. Then when player 2 begins playing, Scorpion or Sub-Zero will be in Reptile's green uniform and it will say Reptile in your energy bar. But even though you look like Reptile, you still can't do both Scorpions and Sub-Zero's special moves. You can only do one or the others. If you choose someone other than those two fighters, your character will be a strange green color.

For a little added "bonus", try the kode 676A-47AF. This kode has a little glitch, but it still works fine.

8.Kano's high kicks do no damage - DD26-1514

Making a character playable is kinda difficult in some cases - sometimes you have to program their whole moveset in. It's because in old games, unplayable characters had "states", and not "commands". That meant that the high punch wasn't set to an internal command (in the SNES, Y button), but to a state (whatever they named it as), so the player has no control over it, only the game itself.

I'm saying this because there's a very clear difference from this to SNK games (King of Fighters series), where you can hack a playable boss in less than a day. It's because in SNK games, every state also has its corresponding command in memory, even if the character was not playable! They probably did this to make porting to other platforms easier, but it worked like a charm back in the Arcade days. You usually had a hack to play as the bosses in less than a day.

its pretty weird how i am almost there with the genesis version though XD
but its snes that would bee tha game we all want and wanted
