Shouldn't the colors of these objects be more in line of the early drawings correct? So wouldn't they be more like this? OP's version is on top mine is underneath... Or am I wrong and missing something here? Technically the colors I used don't look that great when they actually become sprites in the game, but I thought we were going for exact copies from the drawings.

I am working within the limits of the SNES.  I can't turn the mushrooms yellow without the Goombas also turning yellow.   Also the poison mushroom is only black and white because a the manual for Lost Levels was black and white, there's no colored illustration of it as far as I know. As for the Fire Flower, its constantly flashing and changing colors in SMB1 anyway.
Somebody alert me when a user friendly BS Zelda hacking tool is made. I will give my soul to work on a faithful SNES remake of Zelda 1.

About the koopalings palletes in smw there is a way to change them in the og version just use this patch
this changes Roy Wendy and decoys to use pink palette, Morton use grey palette,  Lemmy use green palette and Ludwig Larry and Iggy use blue palette, you can edit the second half of the palette to put green and colors like pink, light blue and yellow for Iggy's hair i know this will affect the green berry but you can use a custom palette in the levels that contain it (wich are just 2) note that Ludwig, Roy and Morton can't use the second half of the palette for some reason

How do you do this? I know these codes you sent are for more specialized people, but I wanted to see if these codes really change the koopalings.

Morton, Roy and Ludwig use mode 7 (a specific level mode that abble sprites to spin and be deformed or smashed) Iggy and Larry also use that but only for the plataform while the other 3 use mode 7 for them selfs, apparently things that use it don't use palettes from sprite palette rows they use instead tileset palette rows

to be honest only Ludwig needs more colors, what i think could work is put an really unusual palette on ludwig like the this one

and then edit it to it be like a blue palette without one blue tone and one green tone then i would give him a custom gfx with a patch he would have one less shading color but would also have a green face, i will try this some day and see if it works

Is this really a rom you made or are making? I swore that doing this was impossible because of the limitations of the SNES, but, if this is a rom already posted on some website, can you send me that rom? Because I found the way you left the koopalings very interesting.

Here if you want to see them with new colors this patch contains edited battles I did for them also the idea for giving ludwig more colors didn't work and edit the palette in tilemolester won't work too since mode 7 bosses that work like Morton, Roy and Ludwig can't have more colors in the palette.
