Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but it seems as good as any.  I've just recently started using the OpenEmu and love it, but I've been having a problem using hacked ROM's from this site.  It seems to run all types of games except for those with the extension .PFF.  Has anyone else encountered this problem, or know that I'm doing something wrong?  I'm certainly not very tech savy, and emulated games are completely new, so any help would be appreciated, thank you.

As a note, RHDN does not provide hacked games, only patches to produce hacked versions of games from vanilla versions of games. You find the game, download the patch, apply the patch, then play the patched game. Generally speaking it's impossible to un-patch a game, especially if said game was patched with IPS.

PPF is a Playstation patch format. Stands for Playstation Patch Format, actually. Unlike IPS which most emulators can apply at runtime PPFs can do a lot to a large amount of data (i.e. a 700MB disk image) and need to be applied ahead of time.

Okay, so I need to download the original game first, then patch it with PFF file?  How exactly does that work?

1. Download PPF Patcher (google it).
2. Download game.
3. Download PPF patch (a .ppf file).
4. USe PPF Patcher to patch the game.

OP is funny. Did you google the file extension? It would help as well.
