Tales of Phantasia Menu Text Insert?
« on: March 17, 2013, 10:53:01 am »
I'm having a couple issues with this.  I've been able to dump it all perfectly fine with Cartographer, not a problem there.  The problem comes when I want to re-insert it with Atlas.

The pointer for 'HP' is at EF9206.  The pointer data there is 01 00 which then leads to EF7004 for the text (Base pointer is EF7000)

Now, when I reinsert with Atlas.  The pointers are no longer '01 00'.  It turns into '00 70'.  Since the base is at 7004 it wants to add 7000 to it.

Is there ANYWAY to stop this?

I think if you set the header length to $7000 that should trick it into doing what you want. It will think the text is at the beginning of the bank.

Edit: Nevermind.  Figured out my errors mostly.  I had uh.. coupel bad bytes so it was writing to 6000000 instead of 600000... yeahh.
