No, it's not dead. He's working hard on it, but life came at him pretty hard and he hasn't had much time to work on it/update us on the progress. It'll be done when he can get it done.

Is there a build of this somewhere? The progress page (https://github.com/cyberwarriorx/pcrown/wiki/ProjectProgress) seems to suggest it's at a playable state (all dialogue, battle text, and items/descriptions translated and inserted). I'd love to play it even in an unfinished state.

Trying to compile the patch for personal use, but I keep getting errors when I run the patch in Visual Studio. One example being:

Looks like you're getting a problem with the allegro library. Not sure what the fix is.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about you or Princess Crown.

Good news is we're still making progress and getting closer to the end. It's taken a lot longer than SamIAm or I would've hoped but we're going to get it done.

For those who have been trying to compile the Github code, it won't work. It's been broken for a while. Just be patient and we'll get it done.

Could we get an ETA? I'm trying to decide whether I should just start playing it in Japanese and use the online translation guides, or stick it out and wait for the translation patch. If it's gonna be months or years I'd rather just play it in Japanese with a guide tbh.

What all is left to be done? First release ain't gotta be perfect

Ok. Thanks for letting me know. Is the progress report updated on the github page. If not, +1 for an eta. Just want to know if I should start Princess Crown first or some other games. But thank you for all of your hard work.
