Hello guys! I'm a guy who registered yesterday, but only got approved today haha. I'm a really experienced 13 year-old man SMW hacker, and my YouTube channel is mostly dedicated to it. Here it is in case you're curious.

I came from SMWCentral, a site dedicated especially for SMW ROM hacking. Lots of fun there haha. I came here to increase my ego by showing you guys my stuff mostly because it's nice to meet more people, discuss, give and receive feedback of my works and other things.

I can be a really friendly guy, most of the time. When I'm pissed off, however, I can come up as annoying or even extremely rude, but hopefully that shouldn't happen. I can give some detailed feedback to other people's work and I try to be as helpful as possible.

See you around, and expect to see some 100% mind blowing hacking nifty stuff from me :P (I try, at least :V)

Cosmic Energy

Hi, I'm Cosmic Energy but just Cam will do if you'd prefer. :D

I love everything about ROM hacking, but for me messing around with mechanics is my favourite.
I like making games harder. But also, trying to incorporate advanced scripts and routines into a game that will give it a fresh experience are what I like most.

I started out with Pokemon, but since then I've begun to look at NES hacking and the MIPS assembly. I have fresh versions of Pokemon HG and Platinum in progress, but my main goal is to have the game Digimon World on PS1 fully hackable at some point in my life. I've studied the MIPS assembly language it uses for some time now, but if anyone ever feels they can give me pointers in PS1 Rom hacking feel free.

Arjak

Hello, everyone! My name is Collin, but you can call me Arjak if you wish. I don't really have much to offer in the skills department, but I have done some voice acting for a couple of game fan-dubs, and I am a big believer in the power of game hacking for the purpose of translation, making brand-new games, etc. If I develop any other skills, I'd be glad to use them to my fullest extent to benefit everyone. I hope I can have a pleasant stay! :)

MooZ

Hello! I'm MooZ, the dude responsible for all the bitpunching behind the Marchen Maze translation.
My current projects are:
As you may have guessed, I'm mostly working on PC Engine (Happy 25th birthday by the way).

After many years of hiding in the bushes... I'm back! Good to see old faces and some new ones as well. Now time to fix that long overdue THG patch.

Pikachumanson

Hello, I am Pikachumanson. I've always wanted to do a translation and now I've finally decided to get off my lazy butt an do it. I am currently working on Jaseiken Necromancer for the TG 16. Work is progressing rather and I hope to make good friends on this board and work on many more projects. I'm basically a loner by nature so I'm not sure if I'll be working in conjunction with anybody, especially right now since I'm just a beginner and wouldn't of much use to an experienced group anyway. I've decided to cut my teeth on the TG 16 because there are so few hackers who work on this console compared to others. Hopefully, I can see this project to the finish and work on other games I've always wanted to see translated to english. I find rom hacking fun and I get great joy out of understanding a games story that was once a mystery to because of the language barrier. Happy hacking everyone!

Yumetaro

Hello  RomHacking.net! I am a newbie at ROM hacking planning to release a hack soon. I am a very friendly person and will accept all opinions.  :)

Hullo. I'm a newbie at both romhacking and actually being arsed to make use of introduction threads. Figuring that you guys assign any worth to community I figured I might as well. My major reason for being here is that playing video games has gotten too boring for me for the most part, and so I'm approaching my ol' hobby from a different angle. I find the whole direction in which roleplaying video-games are travelling to be especially loathsome. I've got it in my mind to do a rather ambitious pokéhack which, if it lives up to my ideas, would address a great many of my complaints with the genre as a whole, but I'd rather not start ranting about that until I've a better handle on how to even go about beginning a project. For the time being, I think I'll leave it at that. It's a pleasure to be here, everyone.

Its nice to meet you. Thats actually how I started to want to hack, and now I am in the midst of a pokehack :)

Satoshi_Matrix

Hey all, after lurking for literally a decade, I've decided to take the plunge so I can get into discussing ROM hacking with the many talented hackers here! I hope to become an active poster here.

kuja killer

Hey there, nice to see you satoshi! :)
I responded now on youtube back to ya, and the romhacking.net download link + readme was updated now this morning.

relminator

Hi, registered yesterday but use this site for ages downloading patches and translations.

I'm more of a game programmer than a hacker though.

Some of my projects:
http://rel.phatcode.net/index.php?action=contents&item=Projects

Being a guy from asia and someone who grew up with the famicom, I had loads of  japanese games.  Knowing nothing of katakana and hiragana, I had a hard time finishing my games.  Some I finished w/o help like CV2, Ginga No Sannin, etc, but there were some that was just too hard if  no in English, like Debias (which I finished last week because of the translation I downloaded from this site).

Again thanks for all the hard work.

Hi guys, my name is John and I will post my project in the personal projects sections in a few moments, feel free to check it out. Big fan of Snes and grew up with Som Terranigma SoE and terranigma before at the age of 10 i got my first computer and started to play all the other snes rpgs like chonotrigger etc (theres no point mentioning them all since I've played most of the snes rpgs). Genreally a big rpg fan though since about 2008 i haven't rly played any games actively due to a lack of time. I recently got motivated to do this hack though so that's why i am here.

*edit* posted it, link to the project page is in my sig. Hope you like it.
Cheers, John.

AdamProject

Hello! Another newbie. I'm here to learn how to get hacking and mix things up a little. It has been a long time ambition of mine to do something like this, especially with Final Fantasy VI or Super Robot Taisen. I already pocketed the VERY useful FFVI and FFI editors and intend to make us of them. As for SRT I have some crazy pipe dream called Super Granzon Saga. Don't get a lot of time and I'm making the dull decision of making this account a month before exams, so post January I hope I can devote a larger chunk of my time to this place! Looking forward to seeing you on the IRC Highway...! Here's hoping I can learn this stuff quick enough and get my dreams and idle thoguhts going. I apologise in advance for any horrible EarlyHax I release.

jka12002

Greeting all, ive been wanting to get back into hacking the classics i grew up with so i thought this would be the right place. :) I used to love messing around with my roms with editors for fun. As a joke i once created a SMB version of JAWS for NES by changing the diver to Mario, the crabs to Goombas and JAWS to Bullet Bill.

Nice to meet anyone.

Radio

Hey, I'm Radio.
I'm most definitely a newbie that has no clue what I'm doing. Great huh? I'm a high school student from the south that has a lot of time on my hands, so I play a lot of classic games like Super Mario Bros., Mega Man (Classic and X series), River City Ransom, Legend of Zelda (a bunch of them, although I'm terrible at the 3-D ones), etc. I also play modern games, but I usually just go back to playing mega man 1 and 2.

I love difficult video games. I guess thats what turned me towards the RHDN forums in the first place. And now it is my sole goal to learn how to make a GOOD, and non-glitchy (or just downright terrible) rom hack.

If you are part of the 85 or so that have seen my thread, then you know that I am currently working on a Ninja Gaiden hack from basically scratch, so if any of you have any tips on that, that would be awesome.
Herehttp://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php/topic,15348.0.html is my thread if you have anything you want to contribute.

Bisqwit

Hi! It's Bisqwit here. I am an emulator author, a member of an old translation group, a former maintainer of a speedrun website, and also an independent ROM translator.

I registered a few days ago to update the information on my Simon's Quest translations ([1], [2]) that I recently finished. Thanks MathUser2929 for registering them in the first place. Someone should also register ToP and CT in the database one of these years.
