PCSXTrace plugins?
« on: January 12, 2013, 11:49:30 pm »
Hey guys. I'm having big trouble getting PCSXTrace to work. I've tried about 5 different CDR plugins, and I always get Error Opening CDR Plugin. Is it the plugins at fault (unlikely)? The emulator? Or my computer? I have ePSXe and pSX and they both work fine, but I'd like to have a code tracer...

On second thought, does pSX have everything I need already?

Try Mooby 1.4, it works just fine and enables ISO playback.

It has to work. If it doesn't, then you certainly have a conflict somewhere else in the configuration.

That is certainly possible.

What I really want is a debugger with a no frame limit option... I sometimes get impatient waiting, and like to speed things up.

And with no$PSX, how do you dump the RAM to a file?

"Error Opening CDR Plugin"... That can't mean that every CDR plugin doesn't work, it's probably just one. So...

1. Delete every plugin in your plugin folder and only put Mooby there.
2. Make sure PCSXTrace is not using a different/old plugin folder (if you've used *any* version of PCSX before, the registry still points to that old folder).

Well, Mooby loads, but crashes immediately upon opening a game, and makes my mouse freak out...
