There's already somebody working on this game? And there was a translated script too? Welp. I guess I should've checked before getting to work... Oh well. For what it's worth, here's a quick overview of what I have.

I currently have translated and inserted:
- Prologue
- Regular ending
- Ishtar screens in regular and special stages
- Quox screens in regular and special stages
- Game over screen, as well as stage start and stage end screens
- A nice little clock icon in place of タイム in-game

Problems/missing:
- Credits and special stages ending are so far untranslated. I had to move around the alphabet tiles a bit, so Quox screens render correctly, so the text isn't just untranslated but actually broken. Fitting translations of the names into surely way too short strings should be fun.
- I went for comprehensiveness instead of readability and crammed as much text on the screens as I needed. It can look ugly, but at least everything is there.
- No lower case letters.

Anyways, I have to replay the game to see if these texts actually appear in the game, or just unused scripts. Phew!
Those are from the special stages. The "heavy snow" text should be stage 82.

Genpei Toumaden?
It is an arcade game. I think the only English release was on Namco Museum Vol. 4 for PS1 as "The Genji and Heike Clans."

What? You're translating this game, too?  Welp, I don't have qualms against other people doing the same project. How long are you working on it? :P

Anyways, isn't it funny that Ishtar mutter some non-sense quotes from other games or advertisement.
I am tempted to replace those with helpful game tips instead, but I think I would save that for a graphics edit version. But these are just my thoughts atm.  :-\

I started just one or two weeks ago. I'm glad you don't mind too much. ;)

I think it's quite amusing. The game is stuffed full of references to different kinds of games anyway. There are even a bunch of D&D enemies after all. Since these whimsical comments only appear during the special stages, game tips probably aren't needed all that much anymore. By that time, the player will probably have a pretty good handle on what they're doing.

The same thing said it was level 83 (and said something about resting?). From going on these wild goose chases before, I can safely tell you it would be unusual to find a quote on the Japanese-speaking Internet if it could only be dumped from the ROM, whereas this quote has a few hits.

If you’re wondering how I find these, a trade secret: I find it very helpful to use Google and do an exact search (surround the query with straight quotes; sometimes, switching between kana and kanji helps out, too). 2ch-style boards are a veritable font of gaming answers. But also bullshit. Sadly, this very low signal to noise ratio couched in 2ch-speak can get very aggravating to read, so I rarely stick around trying to get the gist of the thread; I just sort of find what I came for and pull out.

Spoiler:
we are in a horrible and deadly danger

I'm practically done translating this game  ;D

but I would like to add sprite changes to Ki & the treasure items to look like those from Tower of Druaga:

Maybe I'll put it on a separate patch.

The problem is that it's actually an HTML file.

Looks like the solution (currently) would've been to get the public URL from dropbox, but then replace "www" in the link with "dl". And removing the "s" in https, seems to work, I've submitted the link.
Here's a proper mirror.
