Trouble Patching Rom: Neugier: Umi to Kaze no Kōdō

I am trying to patch the updated 2.0 ips from this site to the rom but it's not working. I downloaded the Japanese rom from (removed). I really would like to play Neugier: Umi to Kaze no Kōdō, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any suggestions. Also I am on a Mac so I use MultiPatch to patch the rom and game

Did you try patching the both ROM with and (if it doesn't work) without a header (using a clean copy of the ROM)?

I downloaded the rom from (removed) and I got the patch to work. It's still getting a bad checksum though. I'll try removing the header and see if that works

SNES translation patches veyr rarely have proper checksums. on the SNES, it's not a real big issue in terms of getting the game to run. Genesis games have bit more of an issue there...
