You need the alternate version of Tile Molester. Copy and save the 512 bytes of palette data to a file with a ".pal" extension. Then you can open it in ImPalEd. If this won't work on Linux then I can do it for you. Once you have the palette open you can save it as a RIFF format palette then go to the alternate Tile Molester and select the Import Palette From Another File option and choose the new RIFF format palette.

Anything you do with 255 files outside of batch processing will take much time. :P

It appears Tile Molester uses decimal mode addressing so when importing the in file palette you should translate the hex address to dec, eg. 0x8030 = 32816 will net you the proper palette.

It looks as you say that they are 512 bytes each with no header.

This would be a nice little trick for tiles with external palettes too. You could just attach the palette to the end of the file so it could be imported from the same file as Tile Molester seems to require.
