Haa. I assume that this bug is in the original game, but it's still amusing:
When you have mercenaries or idols fight a battle, you can cancel out with 'B' at any time. This ends the turn immediately after whoever's acting at the moment completes their action --
not at the end of the turn, but the moment whoever is currently attacking finishes resolving their attack, denying everyone who hasn't acted yet their action for that turn. It then takes you back to the input screen to select who acts in the next turn. Simple, right? This means that if you have a mercenary or idol who's faster than the enemy, you can have them attack forever without ever giving the enemy a turn, simply by starting their turn, then immediately canceling during their attack, then selecting them again...
