Some experiments on porting the English translation from the PSX to the version of the game for Saturn.

I didn't realize Vandal Hearts was released on the Saturn. Is there any difference between the Saturn and PlayStation version?

Extra cinematics, better music, maybe something else.

After years of not working on my MM4 hack, I decided to edit a little section, now Bright Man's level is fully done.

Time to edit the next level. ^_^

What do we have here? New options in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine! :o

Here's what the RESET HIGH SCORES looks like. I wanted to use the A/B to Confirm/Delete, but that prevented the user from selecting the other options. So I went with UP/DOWN instead.

Why it's Scratch of course! Bwa-ha ha-ha! Finally got the code working! :)

Vandal Hearts [Saturn].
Half high-res mode is possible.

So it's possible to make a Saturn game look like a DS game? :D

I finally learned how to use a debugger enough to uncover the way text was written to the screen in Digimon 02: Tag Tamers and fix it. At least on some of the screens:

Original Japanese ScreenTranslationTranslation - Cleaned Up

(I even fixed an issue in the original Japanese where the "H:" was partially covered if your health grew above 3 digits)
There's more screens to fix (mostly to fix the cap of 10 letters for the Digimon name), but this was the one thing I didn't know how to do before.

Eggerland remake using Lolo III as the base.

Here is a mock up of my current struggle: getting bridges to look like wood without changing the floor stones as well.

Let me know if the images show up correctly, pls & ty!

Googie and Vanya, those screenshots are looking good!

Vanya, what palette does the bridge use, and what object shares that palette?
You should have a fourth color that you can use, right?
On the other hand, I think there's only one brown in the entire NES palette, so it looks fine to me...

Thanks Trax, I'm still trying to figure out the title screen data that Quick Curly & Elbobelo gave me, I should be cracking down on it soon. Here's a few screens of my Mega Man III hack, I showed 'em on the RHDN Discord the other day. :D

OOOOOOH that hack looks amazing. Huge Mega Man fan here and a hack that adds Bass is a pro in my book!

Supergamerguy & Vanya: Thanks fellas, after working on my MM1 hack back in 2005 it was meh, I wanna make that MM3 hack really good when it comes to level design. ;)

Titled The Tales of Toad's Tribulation, the levels are ready to be edited now, after like four years of the hack being on ice.

Toad's Tribulation 2, a Super Mario Maker style Toad in SMB3? Yep, some graphic work and three levels edited. I'm not dead like some people think, just working behind the scenes. :)

What was that Mega Man hack? I'd sure like to try it out regardless (huge Mega Man fan here).

That looks really well made so far. Keep up the good work there! Super excited to give that one a go when it comes out!

Also, side note for Googie: would you be interested in making a censored version of your Super Wario Bros 3 hack? I'm sure me (among others) would prefer playing that over the current version, especially for those with young children.

Here's my hack, just to let you know I didn't know about MM1 hacking back then, so there's flaws in the hack.

And about Super Wario Bros. 3? I'll fix up the text if ten people private message me asking for a censored version. ;)
