The only ROM hacking utility that works with the japanese versions of this game is Zyrthofar's one, but sometimes it crashes.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not satisfied with Zyrthofar's FF4 Editor, but thanks anyway. Can anyone make another FFIV ROM editor, please?

There's technically another version, but either way there are major bugs in any version of them. The best thing to do is avoid the bugs. You will probably have to end up hand-coding the stuff on your own.

If you won't code one yourself then begging for it is likely to illicit the answers already posted.     Either be satisfied with what's available or learn to hex edit and or code one and do it yourself.  The only way you will force/entice someone to code an editor to your personal satisfaction is to offer real monetary payment to a professional or really good amateur coder to do it for you.   8)

Yes yes yes, I'll fix those bugs sooner or later unless someone beats me to it!  I've gone back in and took at look at the code and it was sloppy and lazy.  I'll probably start from scratch...

Besides, I've got fun stuff that I'm working on that is taking priority.   ;D

One of these days I'll build my own. It probably won't be epic, but I gotta dust off whatever programming skills I have left...

If you code it in C++ you'll already make the best editor out there for FF4.  :D
