Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 [gen] minihack
« on: August 24, 2011, 03:02:53 am »
mini-hack Ultimate Mortal Kombat (U) (Nemesis_c & r57shell)

The main objective was - to squeeze all you can and keep in 4 mb, but do not break anything original

I will try to list all the changes relative to the original:
- Initially, activation of additional lines in the menu
- Given the opportunity to skip the opening credits and logos button start
- Rewritten the selection table men, old men are arranged in accordance with the arcade version
- Added Khameleon and Chameleon - sort of like a bonus =)
- Table selection of fighters now has 28 soldiers
- Bosses of activation for both games against each other and for single pleya
- Fixed bugs with palettes and blows some Persians - now all chic.
- Normally rendered, is added to the table in the combatants and bars face Smoke II
- Make a few minor changes to the palettes
- Changed all the options column of opponents (corrected errors and repetitions)
- Changed the final three awards - made three new megaendurance replace the old
- Still a lot of interesting things ...

youtube - testing the hack (i & r57shell)

my page of this hack (sometimes updates)

download link (v13)

sorry for my english  :)

Very cool. Any chance of squeezing sheeva back in the game and/or putting the animalities back in?

EDIT****
Actually, Barakka or Raiden would be cooler to add back in if possible.

Maybe I'll try to submit this one for you, too.  Except...
- Added Khameleon and Chameleon - sort of like a bonus =)
- Bosses of activation for both games against each other and for single pleya
- Fixed bugs with palettes and blows some Persians - now all chic.
- Normally rendered, is added to the table in the combatants and bars face Smoke II
- Changed all the options column of opponents (corrected errors and repetitions)
Can you please try to explain more about these?

Not sure what you mean. You're going to port MK trilogy from psx to sega genesis?

What is Chameleon's moves? I thought it was going to be all ninjas moves but it seems he only has sub zero's regular freeze, slide, and scorpion's teleport punch.

This thread is over 5 years old with no activity. I don't think anything else is going to be added.

He's still active at the page he linked, but he hasn't posted an update to the hack. It looks  pretty complete what he's addded tho. It is just like the arcade game and then some. He don't need Cyber Sub-zero. I'm sure the only reason he added Chameleon is cause he was already in the game, just incomplete. As for Chameleons moves, they are the same as in MKT. He uses whatever moves for whatever ninja he is currently.

I see where the confusion is now. I played a later version. That version don't seem to have Khameleon. Chameleon also has moves. Try out this versioN: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3158/
