kingdom hearts 2 final mix English patch

i own a copy of KH2:FM. I have copied the disk image to my hard drive of my computer to apply the english patch to it by using PPf-o-matic. In it's current state, it is playable with PCSX2, but when i burn the image back onto a dvd-r disk, the swap magic program says it is not a valid ps2 disk. I am new at this and would like some direction. if there is a sticky thread for a similar topic, I probably havn't seen it. thanks for any help on this matter.
