Here's a fix for the last one (no offense, of course, DS ):

"So you already got picked up by a sponsor? That's great!"

みつかる is a weird verb. It acts like a passive, but AFAIK it's not actually a passive verb. In this case, the one doing the finding is スポンサー, which is marked with に, the same particle used for marking passives. But I digress...

But Yasui is also a legit (but not so common) surname, which I’m sure is what is really meant.
