Titlescreens: Screenshots & Edits [Constructive Criticism Only]

Anybody want to try and design a title for Deep Dungeon III?
I've started working on this again. I think I have the bulk of the hacking work done, just need to make necessary changes to odino's translations as I test play.
I think the title is "The Journey to Become a Hero", but that's rather generic-sounding , so I think I'd be better to make "Deep Dungeon III" the main title and turn the rest into a subtitle.
(and keeps consistancy, as Deep Dungeon IV kept the DD title, as did the MSX version of DD2 (though the FDS original didn't).

Looks nice. But you forgot a grammatical rule (I don't know the technical terms involved, but the general idea is there): anything that isn't a small word like "to" or "a" should be capitalized (like "Become").

That's pretty sweet looking. I say it's fine as is. It doesn't really bother me when certain grammar rules aren't being folllowed.

(I hate to ask, but could you do a Roman numeral III? I only ask because other titles in the series used Roman numerals.)

When I saw Mario's Destiny gameplay video on youtube I thunk to stop my hack, really. But later I did think better. I must give my contribution to NES, MARIO, All NES fans,and all the great emulator's developers (not only of NES.)

Maybe in the future I could add in my title screen, below the "New super Mario Bros. 3 hack", this phrase: "Because NES will never die."
Or someother better.

This is what happens when I try to go it alone. (I actually used eight pixels less height than the original.)
I found another font that I thought would look good.
Then I realize it'd just be a ripoff of the Star Ocean logo, after which somebody would probably kill me if they ever recognized me.

The stars are a bit too "cut off" from the background. It looks... cropped.

Perhaps if you made the stars taper off instead of just stopping abruptly at the image border, it'll help.
