Maybe it's intentional but with the colours and the word Googie, the i looks to me like google.

If you want a suggestion, i would recommend you to go with this logo instead of the one you're going with.

The logo you're using looks really off in comparison

Masaru: Thanks! That is a nice logo, and if anyone's ever willing to make a Sub version of my translation, I'd be happy to use it (with your permission).
That said, I'm trying to base this logo off the (retroactively) official English logo for Season 2 since I'm using Dub terminology for this release.


I see a few things already I can tweak further (e.g. stronger outlines inside G and M, stretching the top of the orange shield out further, etc), but any additional feedback on the existing design would be appreciated!

@USC: I really like Masaru's attempt. It's probably what I'd go for if there wasn't an official US Logo.

Since you've mentioned that the one posted is official, I thought I'd help you out with the full thing converted down (same amount of colors). Hope you like it!

Graphicus: Wow, that looks great! I sent you a PM about some issues concerning space that may prevent me from using it fully, but I'd like to incorporate as many elements of it as I can in the final image. I really appreciate you taking the time to make something like that!

Glad you like it! Just a heads up. I messed up the underside of the "G" in "DIGIMON" by accident (I re-drew the entire thing from scratch and some of those letters are weirdly shaped, LOL). Here's the fixed version:
