Omg!!! :o I wanna cry! Great job!
Maybe for further reference you can use the soundtrack of the gb version...

End of weekend soundtrack update:

- Finished drafts of the VS. music as well as Dhalsim's, Vega's, and Sagat's themes. I intended to avoid arps but the chords in the Sagat's theme were just begging for one haha
- Started on the title theme - made one based on the arcade and one based on the SNES. I think I'll probably stick with the arcade
- Got a start on all the other character themes - I think Ryu's and Bison's will be the trickiest to capture with just the 2a03. You can listen to my WIPs via the .0cc module or .nsf
- For a lot of themes, I'm having to choose between a lead echo vs. a backing instrument. As much as I love the echos prominent in the originals, trying to use them here means we're left with just bass+lead, and often results in awkward section transitions. So I'll probably be looking to use single-channel echos when possible (see: Blanka's theme), or tuck them behind the backing instruments into the 2nd channel (see: character select)
- Noise only drums without famitracker instruments definitely feel mediocre, especially vs. the PCM originals. Since I'd rather avoid composing at speed 1 haha, if whoever ends up working on implementation can confirm instrument use doesn't inhibit hacking I'll be happy to improve things here.
- Combined all the songs into one module for easier mixing/editing/comparing

.0cc/.nsf of the full module + .mp3s of vs/dhalsim/vega/sagat:
Any feedback/suggestions are appreciated. I'll keep chipping away at the remaining themes over the coming weeks.

I really like the music of the selection of the characters, you're very skilled!!!

About the people in the background, I didn't mean animated ones but just some spectators who doesn't move like in blanka stage. ;)

Your work is jaw dropping!!! :o

I think that too, all black is "better" because there is more contrast with the Zelda logo.
Even the idea of DannyPlaysSomeGames is good but, maybe, the letters should be presented in a different color... But I don't know exactly what color could be better. Basically the idea of contrast is the key.

Thanks! :)
If even I managed to insert the Addams' faces properly, then even Ocean could have done it... but they didn't  :(

Were the big portraits picked from some other games? Really well drawn!

Yes, I picked them from the Master System version. They were basically the same size, but for the Nes version I had to move many tiles, especially for Granny and Thing.

Hi pals,
I'm Francesco, I'm Italian and lately I'm in love again with Nintendo 8 bit games.
I love every hacks that contribute to ameliorate those old games, and of course, all the translations who can permit to play those games that back then they had none or their translation were wrong! As you can see my English isn't perfect, but I'll do my best to explain myself.
Bye!!! ;)

Dear Polinym, I don't know how to thank you for the entire work on this game. Really, your translation and hack are absolutely amazing!! It made the game more modern than the original version, I mean for the graphical changes.
I have completed the game, and I still remember with pleasure the names of New Yorik, Botson, Freattle... oh I love it!
My personal favorite character is The Tramp, because I have just recently watched a Chaplin's movie, so I'm in love with that actor, and it's even not out of place, because, in the 80s, the black & white movies where still on TV, or at least it where in Italy. I love "Niceplosion", and all the rest, really.
Among the names that I didn't understood completely, there are:
Kay IX (Canine???) and Rihannon (Do you mean Rihanna boy?).
For the rest, the game is a very pleasure to play it, it's so refreshing, simple but not too much, full of funny characters,
and moments...

(like the staring contest)

I have some other things to say, but for the moment, thanks!!!

Sorry for my English, but I'm Italian :-[
