Try to go to Shiru's Website, or NESDEV, and search for the converter named ''FamiTone''

And if you need it to work, it needs lot of 6502 ASM modification via ROM and RAM, so study wisely!

Oh, and good luck on helping your friend's ROM hack.

EDIT: Link for the main page: http://shiru.untergrund.net/

What Rhys and Low Lines said: It is currently a Closed-Source project,

Still interested in the project even then, Makes a future tool that is promising!

That is one great hack, really detailed changes!

Problems:

#1 the Coconuts logo on the games (see the hockey minigame) need to be removed,

#2 give copyright to Coconuts and such others for the game,

#3 also Mention that it is a Fan project based on Nintendo's Mario game series, Because that is what hacks need that is to keep Copyright info if it's modded. as it is manditory in most of my hacks to do so.

Hebereke/Ufouria, out of all these games, needs a definate makeover.

In means of Levels, Testing out some unused stuff I posted on an old thread at the LostLevels.org forums, and customising graphics!

Maybe even extending it with MMC5 someday to Extend Characters (and optionally use ExRAM One-screen for Rendering),

It is Possible to use One-screen mirroring in Hebereke, But The only place you cannot do it is with the Final boss, and with NES attributes, They'll clash!

25
Thank you, Now I can get to finishing my hack,

It may have a release around 2012-2013 at this rate, depending on what I am needing to change

And I am almost done with redoing the script!

Screenshots will come when released, because it is a WIP!

Hello. I need some assisance for a Proof-of-Concept hack of Hanamaru, Since GRDI and Myself know that Wagyan Land was hacked into Hanamaru, and then Yo! Noid, It will be redone as Yo! Wagyan (may change, it is WIP!)

I can't find the sprites in the hex editor, And it should consists of Tiles, Attributes, Cooridnates, and possibly Priority, and I can only do CHR at this time!

Can credit the person if the format is found, Good luck finding it out!

Newcomer's Board / Re: smb2j.nes editor
« on: April 03, 2011, 03:49:40 pm »
Why yes there is. Just look it up in the utilities.

If it's Insectduel's, Not really, Because it requires a SMB1 rom, then requires two patches that must be carefully delt with in a specific order!

Then it creates a SMB1 hack looking and feeling like SMB2J, But it isn't since the ending is wrong, it's the same as SMB1!

I am trying to make a version of CTM to work with Super Mario World, since MSU-1 is hard to implent,

Three main problems:

#define ROM_POINTER 0x00759F78
#define RAM_POINTER 0x00759F74
#define APUOP_POINTER 0x0043EF42

These are pointers to SPC, RAM and ROM memory, The difference is they are PC Addresses used by a specific debugger, But it's too hard on me to use one, other than go to you guys,

If you have CTM and a Super Mario World ROM, Can someone find a simple solution?

Is there any info on CNROM, MMC1, and limited MMC3/FME7 mapper conversions with CHR-ROM yet?

Like to see that if so, Otherwise good luck,

Reason for Asking: I tried redoing your NES code in SNES ASM, But the comparsion with 65816 instructions (like used in your PCE version of $2002) needed have no equivelent!

30
Genimi can redo SNES games to PlayStation games???

Then that makes him the new lord of romhacking,

Because PSX games are a mix between SNES and N64, as well as a CD player!

*Grins at MIPS variation,*

a major milestone has been passed:  a beta version of the rom has been sent to a few play testers  :woot!:  Music engine changes are in their last phase as well.  the music engine will have its own bank to make room for more complex melodies.. dr floppy has done an amazing job on hacking in tunes from other mario games :D

Welcome Back!

Well done with the progression of the hack being close to finished,

I'm happy it's still going, Keep it up!

Interesting, I'll see what I'll think up based off the two posts,

33
Use Dosbox.
i have tested it and it is not easy as a regular emulator, i can't use it.

(A tiny bit off topic, but useful!)

To Jandazekon,
I am going to say a definate yes to what Dwedit said, I also say:
Dosbox is easier, Just need to get used to it!
If you want help, Study up and Get a book or two for use with DOS

Great Comeback, I am now so happy to see that this isn't dead!

So, It is almost complete, Great Job! (and a Congrats if it's completed.) *Crosses fingers for release*

Maybe you should specify the OS you would like a build for  :P  ;) .

I am dying for a windows build, Since I do not like messy GIT code.

Also, I suggest all 3 binary builds, in a ZIP/RAR file, within thier respective folders:

LINUX32, WIN32, MACOS,

(and maybe add WIN64 and LINUX64 in the future if possible)

Maybe you or/and I can make a 2-pack PCE port for Hebereke and Ufouria (with NTSC music implented). That is, If IRQ and new CHR switching support is added. I tried, But too much messy code.

If a port for Mapper 4(MMC3), Mapper 69(FME7), CHR switching and it's IRQs are already made or the such, Please let me have them.

NES: Ufouria (Hebereke), Japanese Text with a Totally redone script, Character changes and Name changes

SNES: Spanky's Quest, The Japanese version has a Better Title, Better Ending and a Map screen instead of the usual intro (Natsume, Why?)

PCE/TG16: JJ and Jeff (Ken-chan and Kato-chan), Different Text in Japanese, Potty Humor like People ''Doing thier business'' on bushes and poles.

EDIT: Added 1 more,

NES: Yo! Noid (Masked Ninja Hanamaru), Americanized with Pizza references, Sound and Game Engines based off of Wagyan Land 1 and 2 with major differences, Different title, intro, and card/pizza battle text.

WOW! 5 games, That's a milestone

Tom gets a cookie!  :cookie:

a tiny bit off topic, Just to look back at the old posts I made about SMB1:

The reason I wanted enhanced graphics is because SMAS's editor and disassembly (Mushroms and the SMASh DIZ project) is not done until it either is dead or finished, And they are just taking long, No wonder.
