Contrary to popular demand, this thread will not be closed because of any necroposting or other issues.

z-byte, no backseat moderating, also, no spam to postcount++.

This thread may continue - on topic - if there is any decent news by its creators or recent news about this project in general. No "when is it done??!?!?!?!", no "close this, it's more than 10 days/months/years/aeons old".

I really don't like the T and R very much...

The thing is, it kinda looks odd in itself with the border around the letters. The original Japanese had wider characters, so the border didn't make the whole thing look too blurry... Yours just emphasizes this with varying widths in some characters.

I think you should center horizontally as well as vertically. And maybe have the English be 3 text lines' height above the Sanskrit.

1. If you really need to add more people, do so HERE. There will be no significant code change such as the interface and additional functionality you've described anytime in the near future other than an SMF 2.0 upgrade and related material. Since you can already add people at the link provided, it's only a matter of convenience.

Wow. I've looked for that option for quite some time and was unable to find it. How did you even get to that page in the first place o.O?
I actually think I even asked about this functionality once and was told that the only way to add people to the database is via a new entry - the rationale being that no people without associated projects are created.

I second Killa B's proposition to include a field to add an author to the community database via edit form.
Nice work nonetheless ;)

Also, sorry to not have brought this up sooner, but there is a long-standing issue with the commas in the description of hacks. It will always display a comma after each entry, regardless if it is the last entry or not.

"G,S,L,T,GP," instead of "G,S,L,T,GP". This is for any number of mods and even for the maximum of mods available (5 as seen in parallel worlds).

I removed the spam with release dates on birthdays from here. You can continue your talk about birthdays here if you feel like it. Just not in this thread.

Ok guys, this has been going into the wrong direction with the last few posts.
We all acknowledge that it may be hard to find an original copy of the game. After that, each to his own means.

Try bsnes and if it chokes, too, then it's a faulty piece of code somewhere. Should be able to get fixed.

Now, remember to write a doc about the song format and upload it to RHDN and we're all cool :D
This is going to be serious good news for other hacks that want to incorporate somewhat different themes!

Hmm, so is there documentation out how this special EEPROM works? At least if the patch creator could make a specific reference, emulator writers would be able to support it in the future if they don't have to do all the research. Other than that, it's really sweet to do such a hack, way to go

I was just talking about this message board, I admit though that I formulated my response not saying so.

See for youself on my Vista machine right here:

It's clearly not connected. It has a shadow on the subpixel level, granted, but that doesn't make it connected.

EDIT: I actually don't see Verdana listed anywhere but for "smalltext"...

and 2bytes kind (begins with 00 and 12,13,14 array. I mean in the Rom it would be 0012XX or 0013XX...)

As he said above, IMO it probably needs a 00 in front of it. However, the 00 code could just be a "clear kanji set" or something and 12 would be "use kanji set 12 from now on". So it might have lots of variations or something. Like, kana0012XXYYZZ0013XXZZYY where XX, YY, ZZ are always kanji codes in the 12/13 set and not kana...

We need more info for this one...

But in your table file, you only wrote 12XX or 13XX. If the game has a 00 in front of every of those characters, then you'll need those, too. Also, if your game has it like 0012XX12XX12XX0013XX0012XX12XX0013XX13XX or something, then it's probably really hard to get cartographer to know what you mean.

Also, please do not post ANSI text, it was converted to gibberish, so noone really gets your point...

It's really hard to read IMO. You should maybe make it less italic. Like, maybe add 1/3 of "straightness" to each vertically straight edge or something... Also, wouldn't it would probably look better if the letters were larger and the the maybe inset in the m's legs or something..
