I don't necessarily expect much one way or another. Maybe if something had been hyped up then that would raise one's expectations.

I'd like whatever it is to be well done, sure. In the case of a translation it doesn't have to be spectacular; unless I compared it with the original how would I even know whether it's all that great or just merely decent? If something was quite obviously dodgy or I didn't care for the gameplay then I'd give it a miss.

As for making a patch, I'd like to think I'd put in some considerable effort (even if it took longer).

Try searching the utilities section for hex editors (the reviews may be helpful). For general GFX editing you could try Tile Layer Pro or Tile Molester.

There might be some game-specific docs/tools if you search around. You might find extra info by looking through the board or other relevant sites.

I don't know about cell phones, but on a tablet yes. The left-hand pane was handy for navigation.

As with others, I much prefer the old default theme. I've managed to change back for the forum, but I still think it would be better to have the old theme (or something like it) set to default for the entire site.
