The only rom compatible with this ips is this one

Patching to any other rom won't work (even if only the size is different).

You must also use the ZSnes emulator for Windows in order to play normally.
All other emulators for consoles and other platforms are untested.

1. There is no smithy brother.
2. There is no sword lv-4 and no armor lv-2 or armor lv-3 and no shield lv-3.
3. There is no gold glove (this would lead to bug area).
4. There is nothing in the waterfall, but you stand in it.

About suggestions
-Believe it or not, Ganon was on the mountain, but the pit would not bring Link to him,
since this rom file is somehow locked for palette or room header changes. The only place
Link would fall to Ganon was that room at the beginning.
-The dark world was bugged, specially sprites. So I removed 4 small areas. Since the
overworld was done by Seph, I included as much as possible of the unbugged drawings.
-Firerod could be in the big chest, but I decided to hide it.

By now you have the answer already. Yes, with ether medallion you can freeze
enemies. Now you can pick them up and throw them to peg switch (new trick, my idea).

One of the things in this game is to ignore all items fleshing on the
overworld map, as well as dungeon maps. You really dont need these.

The dark world is small. The same goes for original Shards of Might game as well.

You can enter the dark world only here.

Now you can use the mirror to the light world only in four overworld areas,
since the dark world only has those four areas. Originally there was also
a village in the dark world, but this area didnt respond to editing.

Mirror takes you only from dark to light world (can't go the other way).
The goal of the dark world is to get to two dungeons (number 6 and 7),
but dont look at the map and ignore things fleshnig on it.

Since you solved the 6th dungeon (I can see from menu that you have
ether medallion) go to the 7th dungeon, which is actully here.

After that you have one more small (one big room) dungeon in light world
(doesnt flesh on the map; it is near the big east lake) and Ganon
(in the level you rescued Zelda, NE from village).

In this dungeon the main element in the big chest
were the shoes. (I can see that you have them,
from your item menu). Why not use them here.
Run with the shoes to the right statue and the
bounce will bring you to the left side of the pit.
This will bring you to the boss. Have your bottles filled
with fairies and dont panic. You will have only one
spot from where you can fight.

Next is the final dungeon in the dark world.
Use the help from acmlm screen shots to come past the first room.
Its logical really. Which element did you gain at the end of dungeon 6.
Why not use it at the beginning of dungeon 7. Happy playing.

Bring the blue bumps down, and remove all the jars.
Then follow this path and dont make a mistake.

PS It is adviced to use the usb joystick to finish this game.

I could do a new zip, but it would be the same as this one. Everyone that have problems with
zip are using better version of zip, or the any spyware is blocking it, because the zip contains
the lunar magic exe file. On my computer the zip file works fine. The same goes for some other players.
If there are problems with unziping, simply use the shortcut, that leads directly to ips.
You are probably using vista or some advance zip program, I'm using XP and old zip 9.0.
PS Try extracting it with win-rar.

Regarding the empty texts.
This is a point where Zelda should talk. Francais removed the text to change it
later, but he didnt do that. When I remodeled the monologues, the whole text
of the game was destroied, so I was forced to leave some texts empty (around 7 texts,
specially when you are with Zelda).

Regarding the big key.
Go right from the entrance room. You need small key for that.
There you get the lamp and green magic. In the next room light all torches
to gain a chest (you must be quick). Now use bombs to come to the chest.

Regarding the original rom to patch.
You are using the correct rom.
This is the only rom, that the game can be patched to, to work normally.

Some other aesthetic faults from readme file

1. When you exit your home, one more entrance would appear (you cant enter there).
2. No ending sequence (defeat Ganon, read the flor, enter Ganons door and you are done).
3. When passing from area 1 to 2, the sprites in area 1 would sometimes become unaesthetic (rare event).
4. Some texts are empty (who likes to read while playing anyway).
5. In the dark world dont get killed. There are only 4 areas and one enemy up the hill.
   You have 95 percent chance to succed.

1. Ignore the things fleshing on the owerworld map!
2. Ignore the text (it is the mix of original and Francais game)!
   You must advance logically.
3. Ignore the dungeon maps.
4. There is no master sword, only sword 1 and 3, there are no pendants, only crystals.
5. There is no gold powerglove (this would lead to bug area), no shield 3, no armor 2 and 3.
