That could work, but with most people being familiar to "Voltron" being called Voltron, when they see "Golion" they'll probably think "Golion? I could've sworn his name was Voltron".

Not that I'm going to play this when it's done, but I hope to god they remove the "-san" crap from the final script :/

I agree with this, this is an ENGLISH translation, not an English romanization. Do you add Japanese honeraries to peoples names in real life? No, so there's no reason to do it in a game.
