Finally got around to playing this. It far surpassed my expectations. I dont know why its receiving so much hate on here, its better than Hydlide and Ys 1 (for most systems).

If you hate this you hate Ys.

Anyways fun game, great translation and I like the resolution. I estimate its a 1989-1990 release. Also the grinding is not bad at all so far. You level up rather quickly.

**EDIT

uh oh, trouble in paradise. After the first boss, the next two towns are broken. Nobody talks to you and you are screwed, not even the shops respond to you to sell you new weapons n stuff. PLZ FIX I WUZ HAVIN FUNN

maybe its NESTOPIA?

I thank you humbly and whole heartedly for your efforts in translating the first in the glorious BQ series.

The PC engine sequel is damn near impossible, u wanna talk about grinding OOF! that one is no joke.

lol the "Hackers International " logo even looks like the ENIX logo.

great spoof. I will get around to playing this soon.

Not to rain on your parade but I hope you release BQ 2 also one day, since there is not much text in that game and its short as well (plus it will be the first DQ-like hucard ever to get a translation).

Awesome! Will try this soon!

I TRIED to play BQ2 on the TG16 and maaaaaaaan its a total DQ clone but SUPER TOUGH. The leveling is not even fair/fun. You gotta grind like there is no tommorow just to make it a screen away from the initial town.

Still after this, I cant wait to see a TG16 hucard get translated, even if it is a hentai RPG.

AMAZING! thank u brotha man

too bad you couldnt get Nightwolves permission to merge the patches. Is there a youtube video to demo the actors voices>? (like it really matters, anything in english beats japanese, unless you play Chaos Wars).

Again THANK YOU! This is a blessing, the game is now finally 100% translated after so many years. Im glad I never finished it, I can now truly enjoy it to the max.

Can you provide a youtube link of an english cutscene plz?

This game was made by an Australian team, not the Japanese.

Looks really good with a lot of those logos

For some reason I loved this game soooo much as a kid, but now when I play the newly translated SNES ones, they are unplayable to me . I dont know if I just suck at baseball games or if they increased the difficulty because I used to ROCK the NES version.
