nevermind.
uhh okay? I think people should buy Kevtris and GameTechUS products. These people are at the precipice of NES game modding develpment. They can only be ursurped by the Japanese translator people.

Those Jap Tran users are silly along the lines of Dr. Evil and such.  >:D  >:D  :police:

wow okay I'm going to leave this here because it's hilarious and retarded. what the fuck was I talking about?? holy crap.

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: What are you looking for in a ROM hack?
« on: July 15, 2016, 10:11:56 pm »
Nope. Not bewps not bewbs and not helicopters with bewbs. None of this is what I would be looking for in a ROM hack.

I want users to sacrifice themselves. To give themselves utterly unto the rom hack.

Full translations. Please..

Anything less is only a "hack."

Hook your computer up to a big screen.
A big screen is bigger but it isn't big screen or in HD.

 Yea.

Considering there are probaby millions of people who have NES and want HD in the United States - it probably isn't a longshot to presume the effort might be making massive amounts of money especially since it's a one of a kind deal.

I personally would love to have a HD NES console. I wouldn't pay four hundred for it but I bet there are a bunch of rich fuggers out there who would. . .

Add Wilford Brimley to the game and that statement will ring true.
No. No. I'm sorry but I am conflicting inside of your universe.

There is no universe where Wilford Brimley fits inside of the Metroid sphere. Not here not in a thousand years.

I'm sorry but Wilford Brimley will have to stand on the sidelines and eat Burger King or Wendy's.

I will go out on a limb and say that this hack will probably be the greatest hack in all of NES hacking history. Amirite???

Yes I have to chime in with the other game players who have submitted their concerns about the map. If I'm going to choose in some kind of Disney Land wonder world where people live what they wish then yes I would prefer to not have a map on the screen and maybe only  have the map shown on the pause screen. This seems perfectly acceptable because I don't want a map on the main game screen telling me where to go. I want to have to figure it out for myself. That's part of the fun of the game. I'm sure some game players agree with me on this.

The pause map is amazing but the in game map screen is unnecessary.

Remove it or make a patch that removes it please.

Meh.. just feels like too little, too late.

Not to mention too limited, if there's no way to expand the library.
Just thought I'd mention since it was said this would be in HD: Kevtris and GameTechUS recently released their first batch of HD NES upgrades and they sold out in about 24 hours. GameTechUS is selling HD modded NES consoles on his website currently. They're pretty expensive - about $390 for the front loader (buying a front loader modded with HD graphics output) and like $300 or $270 or something for the top loader.

Here's a link in case anyone is interested. https://www.game-tech.us/shop/

Edit: Okay Jesus H. Christ the top loader price seems to have increased to $499.95 . Fuck the actual what. The front loader is still $390 and the mod packages were going for about $120 - $140.

Here's one Ginga no Sannin. Seems like a pretty good game. They said they have it on their list a few years ago but they're doing other projects.  :'(

# If I remember correctly you CANNOT skip the DLC -The Missing Link- in the DC Edtion: the DLC is integrated into the base game. I don't like this feature since I still find the DLC breaks the pace of the original game.
So when they integrate Missing Link into the game they justify taking away all your augs because storyline and EMP chair right? But then, after you finish Missing Link how do they justify giving back all of your previous augs from before? That doesn't even make sense.

53
Why'd you ask that?
because that's what he used to have back in the 90s. I guess you're not old enough to remember that? he used to have a mohawk and a shaved head and he would sing on stage with it. then he went and did an interview after a show and it sounded funny because of the way he talks.

54
no spoilers plz

55
I only ever have dreams about Beyond Thunderdome-style pit fights between Oscar Wilde and Maynard James Keenan.
Dang for reals? Did Maynard James Keenan still have a mohawk and talk like he was born in a library?

How's everyone doing today I certainly hope you're doing well.

57
well i always wake up with the feeling on how i am to continue with the progress of my smk hack mainly with the music which will take a heck of a long time to work with and every time it fails i always ask myself "HOW DO I EVEN?"

Mhmm. And how many doors do you have in the elevator? This one is crucial. Make your time.

58
too many notes
ZacharyTheHedgehog can you please do me a favor and prove to me that you are a human being? Say something logical that a human would say. Tell me how you felt before you woke up last night or describe the texture of the nearest carpet or rug. Just tell me anything that makes perfect logical sense to human beings.

Go ahead. I'll wait.
