You know that game Strider 2 for Genesis? Isn't that the only platform that has a Strider 2 - the Sega Genesis 16-bit?

I don't know I ran across it the other day because I must have downloaded it about 16 years ago . .

...What line of dialogue are you referring to?
You know, I thought I was wrong about that. It's probably something from a dang hack that I played - Final Fantasy Epica maybe.

Talk to the elf in the cave and he's all like, " . . Gold! . ."

Postal workers steal people's packages all the time - happened to me in December but it was only a 70$ package of energy tea. Tracking tells me the package arrived at the post office but was 'undeliverable as addressed' and that same tracking told eBay that the package had been delivered to my home. So definitely a scam by either the eBay seller or the post office.

They open my packages all the time and usually when they do they just deliver the box to my house ripped open. They probably think I'm some drug trafficer or some crap. Idiots.

Hate to say it but somebody made a rather large mistake sending a package worth $5,000 through USPS. USPS cannot be trusted and it is systemic. There should have been some type of alternate shipping method that includes insurance that specifically protects against packages being stolen by delivery workers.

My guess is the postal workers stole it because they opened the package and realized it was worth a decent amount of money. (Irony is they probably have no clue how much it's actually worth and they're going to try selling it for much less . .)

Here's a random idea - in the elf cave put graphics of gold in there coming out of the walls. Because talking to the elves they always say 'Gold!' but there isn't any gold . . I'm like what gold, invisible gold? It would be neat if you could see the gold they're yelling about.

'Course you'd have to make extra sprites or whatever. Just an idea since you're adding all kinds of new stuff . . ;D

I tried playing Gradius II today - game is frikkin hard! Gradius II is fun because options stack to level 5 but if you get killed in level 3 might as well turn the game off :banghead:

And found a Gradius 4 for MAME - that will be fun someday. Never even played that one.

The Medusa titties look pretty good. I mean, you know, it's pretty good for 8-bit Medusa titties.

The Metroid Ridley X hack looks like it may be worth it. I only played it for five minutes but so far it does seem quite different. Will try again and report back.

Heyyy. I would love to see a translation of that game as well. Ginga No Sannin is pretty much one of the only (potentially) good games on Famicom that doesn't yet have a translation into English.

The game looks kindof fun because uh . . well it's supposed to be sortof semi-strategy but with side-scrolling action levels.

That's the only one on my list that hasn't been translated yet.

No response?

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about - NES FF2 Dawn of Souls? I've never heard it called that - I thought it was just FF2 for NES. Maybe you're talking about the difference between the newer translations and the much older ones for FF2 & FF3 on NES?

The way I understand it the new translations used words that were used on newer remake versions of the game like maybe the DS remake versions and the older ones were just the first translation of the game that had nothing to do with the way words were said in the new remake versions. It's for people who prefer the words in the new remake versions or something.

The whole hack is lost.

Pentagon notified. Rescue en route.

Cosmic Wars Famicom on Nes. 2 player Cosmic Wars. Best game ever. Still need to do a review on it. Just try it you'll see.

smoking DMT and dying that's what's up. :police:

yep. this is the biggest game event that is happening in retro game hacking.

There is no equivalent it's like I would need to smoke DMT and die like in the movie Enter The Void it forces you to ask what kind of Metroid hack will there be in the year 2025.

I can think of one that will be almost as good but not as good as Rogue Dawn even though it's not even released yet.

Dragoon X Omega - Gold Edition (Beaten)
Dragoon X Omega II (Beaten)
Oh good video I'll watch it. I still haven't played that game yet. I think it's supposed to be one of the best Final Fantasy hacks.
